At Leila Fakouri Art & Design Studios, we enjoy the best of what Altadena has to offer as an oasis location for all types of shoots & productions.

Our fully furnished and fully equipped studio property is set against the beautiful mountains in a serene location, yet still within close proximity to all of the Los Angeles industry needs.

Our purpose in providing this type of unique custom studio location is to provide a tranquil environment where artists, musicians, and actors can feel more comfortable and relaxed during shoots, without missing any of the traditional industry standard studio accommodations.

Our one stop shop business model allows for us to attend to all needs, from the beginning to end of any type of production.

The main studio is 1,200 sqft with 20ft high ceilings, huge clerestories, bifold doors that open to the garden, and lots of natural light. The open flow of the space allows productions to customize how they want to use the space. There is a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, office area, and a second story open loft - where production and clients can discretely watch over the shoot below from the comfort of a sofa or worktable.

For set design, the large back wall of the studio allows for a full set to be built if needed, and we can supply a library of backdrops also (including traditional papers as well as a variety of custom walls of all sizes). Additionally, we have an immensely diverse assortment of custom props in our very own prop room available for your rental!

Also for crew, the studio has a wide open roll up steel door with an easy load in / load out area and ample parking. We provide a huge array of camera and lighting gear, as well as grip equipment and carts for rent. We even have a well-provisioned workshop for any on site set design fabrication needs.

Other helpful items include a shaded outdoor lounge space, hair and makeup adjustable stools, high speed internet, and a Sonos speaker system.

If your project requires even more space, you can rent the 2,000 sqft main home including 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a large open concept living - dining - kitchen area, with high ceilings and large open bi-fold doors opening up to the outdoor pool area and lush gardens.
