citzenM Hotels brought Leila Fakouri Art & Design on board to lead their unique global portrait series “Citizens of the World”, which pulled together 25 influencers from 5 different cities to visually showcase their various talents and impacts on their respective cities.

By being able to host all the talent in our Altadena studio, we were able to bring a variety of cultural icons and influencers together in one very inspiring shoot. LFAD produced the entire project in house, bringing in all crew departments for this complicated endeavor, as well as providing set design, photography, gifs, and post production.

As citizenM hotels span 20 major cities worldwide, our ongoing goal of this series of portraits, films, and discussions is to bring to life the diverse stories of a multitude of global citizens embodying their various urban cultures and connecting across borders.
